'LittleBigPlanet,' when first announced, seemed like it would be a fun little title amongst the PS3's 2008 offerings.

With all the attention 'LBP' has had in the last six months and at CES, it seems like this game is going to be the industry's 800-pound gorilla of the year.

I had a great opprotunity to hang out at T. Newman's house and jam out with Romo and some of the 'Boys! Lucky Romo got to go co-op with Carmen Elektra via LIVE.

A little late to the party, but worth taking a look at if you want to kill a few hours.

Game publisher,Eidos, stopped by our studios to give us a sneak peek of the new and improved version of the original Tomb Raider. Lara never looked so good!

Doug note: 'Anniversary' really looks amazing in person; and BOY does it bring back memories. Graphically, it's on par with 'God of War'; AND for only $30, it's a definite must buy for the PS2! I can't believe I'm excited about a PS2 game... it's that good.

One of my favorite old Saturn games makes it to the next-gen on September 4 (360/PS3)...

360 owners finally get their chance to Rock. I think it's time to put away my PS2.

A couple of shooters for this week's review. The disappointing MOH: Vanguard and the outstanding GRAW 2. ENJOY!

For all the talk about how great graphics don't equal great gameplay, I have to say that the graphical effects in Crysis look like a lot of fun. Watch how the vegetation gets chopped apart in a gunfight, how a rope bridge wobbles and snaps as barrels fall onto it, and how a town disintegrates under the shockwave of a massive explosion.

Cutting-edge technology can make games better.

Compare and contrast with the Sony ad posted yesterday.

On the one hand, Sony needs to be a little more descriptive, since it's selling a new console with a new technology that a lot of people might not ever have heard of. Microsoft, on the other hand, gets to sell games, since gamers already know what the 360 is all about.

But man, this Gears of War ad is leagues better than the PS3 video. It's haunting, exciting and mysterious. I hope this music makes it into the actual game.

It doesn't hurt that they got Lance Henriksen to do the voiceover. That guy could radiate cool while reading the nutritional info off a box of Fruit Loops.
